If you’re experiencing symptoms without a clear cause… you’re not imagining it.

Kali Storm wrote I Believe You because there was a time in her life when she truly thought she was losing herself. Kali's body was changing in ways she couldn’t explain—fear, anxiety, vertigo, brain fog, exhaustion—and yet so many answers pointed back to stress, hormones, or “everything looking normal.”

What she didn’t realize at the time was that her environment was slowly making her sick. The moment everything finally clicked was after she moved out and opened a storage unit filled with her belongings, only to realize nearly everything had become mold contaminated. That was the moment she understood this was real.

This book was born out of years of trying to understand how the body responds under chronic toxic load, nervous system stress, and environmental illness. It was also born out of the desire to help people feel less alone. Kali wanted to create the resource she wishes she had during the hardest season of her life—something that combined personal experience, practical understanding, and hope.

I Believe You is not just about mold. It’s about learning how the body adapts under stress, how healing often requires reducing total load, and how food, nervous system support, and safer environments can help rebuild the body over time. Most of all, it’s for the people who have felt dismissed, confused, or unheard. Because sometimes the first step toward healing is finally hearing someone say: I believe you.

I picked this up to support the author even though mold isn’t something my family personally deals with — and I’m so glad I did! It’s refreshingly practical and not fear-based at all. She gives you real, actionable information and focuses on simple foods you can add to nourish your body. No overwhelming lifestyle overhauls, just small steps that actually feel doable.

This book validates anyone walking through a mold journey or would be helpful to anyone who has felt unheard about their health struggles!!

This is one of the most validating books I’ve read in a long time.

What stood out to me most was that this wasn’t just another fear-based mold book or a long list of expensive supplements and protocols. It explained how the body actually functions under chronic stress and toxic load in a way that finally made sense.

Kali shares her personal story with so much honesty, but also gives practical insight into how food, environment, nervous system regulation, and daily habits can either support healing or continue adding to the body’s burden.

It’s hopeful without being unrealistic, educational without being overwhelming, and empowering without being extreme.

Highly recommend for anyone navigating chronic illness, mold exposure, burnout, inflammation, or simply wanting to better understand how the body heals.

Few books have the power to completely reshape the way readers think about health, environment, and the human body, but this book on mold illness does exactly that. It is not simply a discussion about “black mold” or water damage — it is a deeply eye-opening exploration of how chronic exposure to damp indoor environments can silently impact respiratory health, neurological function, inflammation, fatigue, and quality of life.

Emotionally, the book leaves a lasting impact because it challenges the assumption that our homes, schools, and workplaces are automatically safe. It forces readers to reconsider how environmental exposures can quietly shape long-term health. By the end, it becomes difficult to ignore the possibility that indoor air quality may play a much larger role in chronic illness than society has traditionally acknowledged.

Overall, this is an incredibly powerful and thought-provoking read that blends science, human experience, and public health into a compelling narrative. It opens readers’ eyes to an issue that is often overlooked while grounding its message in credible research and documented health effects. More than anything, it reminds us that health is not shaped only by genetics, medicine or nutrition, but also by the environments we  live in every single day.

This Book Is For You If…

✓ You’ve felt dismissed
✓ You’ve dealt with mold exposure
✓ You have brain fog, fatigue, or unexplained symptoms
✓ You want a food-first approach
✓ You need hope and direction

Watching the author navigate the challenges and uncertainties surrounding mold exposure over the past several years has been difficult, and seeing that experience transformed into such a thoughtful and well-written book is truly inspiring.

What makes this book so special is the way she combines her personal story with extensive research. The transitions between her real-life experiences and the technical information are smooth and natural, allowing the reader to learn while also connecting with her journey on a personal level. Her writing is honest, clear, and compassionate, making a very complex topic approachable and engaging.

Beyond the information it provides, this book is a testament to perseverance, determination, and hope. She turned years of struggle, searching, and learning into a resource that can help others feel less alone and better informed. I admire the courage it took to share her story so openly.

This book is not only an excellent source of information, but also a powerful reflection of her strength, resilience, and desire to help others. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in understanding the effects of mold exposure and the journey toward healing.

Came to the pages out of curiosity, not a problem I was aware of. I can’t remember the last time I read a book from cover to cover in one sitting. So much information and so little judgement. Solid, practical and feels like common sense, but so much more. Motivation and a sense of curiosity built into every page. Amazing what can happen when awareness is heightened and the body is supported in the way it was intended to work. Well done.

This is exactly the book that people need to read who are going through this and also the perfect book for someone to read to support someone going through it. It's concise enough for people with very busy lives and covers everything from foods to focus on/avoid to explaining the body processes in laymen's terms. It's absolutely a must read and I felt so validated reading it especially in the situation I'm in right now (living in hotels)... Thank you Kali!!

I recommended your book to a good friend today. He has two granddaughters that are experiencing some chronic conditions and who were exposed to mold at some point along the way.

So far, your book is the most comprehensive that I have read on the subject of mold and how it affects us.
I have not finished it yet...we are in the midst of dealing with mold in our house.

It's so much!

You have created a book that cuts to the chase which is fabulous for people who are trying to heal from mold exposure. The brain fog that comes with mold illness can be quite difficult to navigate and your book helps tremendously!
